Lilly Cohart is a woman who had a hard life. She grew up in the projects and was only able to get out of it because her mother always encouraged her sister and her that there is greatness in the world and she will have a tremendous part in it. She succeeds in moving out of her mother's home and into the Big City after landing a successful internship. What she experienced, she had no way of foreseeing; for she becomes a serial killer survivor but the scars never heal and are forever embedded in her shattered heart. She begins to listen to her dark thoughts and every time she looks in the mirror, she loses the most important part of herself, the will to carry on and move forward. She believes that she will become an outcast and everyone will begin to treat her as such a person, who is beneath society. Dirt. As she hides herself from the world, her older sister goes and tries to help her by hiring her fiancé’s best friend, Noah Jones, to be a stay-at-home nurse to tend to her wounds, instead of being in a soulless hospital alone. Will this man look at her the same as she assumes society will respond to her or will he surpass the scars and see what truly lies beneath her skin?
