There was one single sign that the house was alive with presence. A single light against the darkness of the neighborhood's dimming sunset. If she didn't know better, Kara Danvers would have said the house was empty. Unfortunately, she did know better- the house wasn't empty at all; rather there was a single, imposing figure in the window. A single shadow that left Kara's heart beating at twice its normal speed. Granted, Kara could have used her... shall we say, super, vision to see more clearly, but she didn't think that was fair. She knew it wasn't fair. She'd lost all rights to peer into the window, to gaze at the beauty of the house ... of the person inside of it.
