Lara was excited to start her new job as an assistant to Jackass Hudson Pearce. She had heard great things about him and was eager to learn from him. However, her excitement quickly faded as she realized what kind of person he was. Hudson Pearce was agoraphobic, which meant he rarely left his house. Lara had to do everything for him, from grocery shopping to picking up his dry cleaning. But what bothered her the most was his constant belittling of her. He would often compare her looks to those of his model friend, making her feel inadequate and insecure. It was clear that he had no respect for her or any other woman for that matter. However, as time went on, Lara began to see a different side of Hudson. He would apologize for his rude comments and even start to open up to her about his struggles with agoraphobia. She realized that perhaps he wasn't all bad and that everyone has their own demons to battle. While she didn't condone his behavior, she could at least try to understand where he was coming from. In the end, Lara learned a valuable lesson about empathy and understanding. Even someone as unpleasant as Hudson could have redeeming qualities if given the chance.
