In a small village, no one really pays much attention to the "roamers" that is until they steal their pocket coin. They are all pretty much the same except for Apollo who, although he is more than capable with the art of deception and slight of hand, holds himself to a higher moral code and prefers to scavenge over theft. Apollo normally kept to his regular routine of walking the streets during the day and rummaging through bakery and butcher scraps at night whilst avoiding the other, more sinister scavengers, but one night things started to change when Sephra, the most feared of all the roamers finds a curious gem stone set in a gold pendant which she soon discovers posses a great power. After a failed escape from Sephra, Apollo finds himself thrown into the rapids of the roaring stream that flows through the village and washes up to find a crazy-self-proclaimed sorcerer who may actually posses the key to ending the maniacal rampage of Sephra Nite in her maniacal rampage and quest for power that threatens not only the village but anyone who dares defy her.
