Senior student Ray Jeffson is an only child. He lives with his parents, has an amazing best friend, and the hots for a girl named Amanda. Ray is also noticing, like most other people in the world, the eminent breakdown of the world as we know it. All over the world, plants have stopped growing, things have stopped decaying, people and animals have stopped dying, and everything has stopped reproducing. his all stated slowly about 16 years ago, but has recently reached it's peak, nothing is growing anywhere, nothing is decaying, nothing is reproducing, nor is anything dying of anything natural. People are starving quickly, and surpluses are running out fast. But for Ray in his town of Kingwood the plants are out of control, with little anyone can do to stop them. And all Ray can do is sit back and wonder what makes his town so different. Is Ray just an average teenager, or is he a part of something bigger than he can begin to imagine? (And just a quick question to anyone who actually reads these summaries, why/who changed the cover of my book? This cover page is not the cover that I made for it [not that I remember at least] and I have no Idea how it changed. So if you know or understand message me please.)
