Based on the Netflix Film and Book, Mudbound. Jamie McAllan marries young Elizabeth Strong, after knowing each other for less than a year, before he ships out to fight in World War Two. Since the two hadn't the time to get settled before Jamie left, Elizabeth moved in with Jamie's brother, Herny, his wife, Laura, their two girls, and his father until he got back. After moving in with the McAllan's, the family moves to a small farmhouse, where they work and run the land. Something neither woman thought they would be doing with their lives. I do not own the main story of Mudbound, or the characters from the movie. I do own Elizabeth Strong and the story between her and Jamie McAllen. I am just a fan writing about a movie, book, and character I fell in love with #1 in Mudbound March 24, 2019 - Across the Sea Ongoing

This is the tale of the Second World War. Rather, a tale of the soldiers who fought it. Jack Walters, a young and youthful British boy living in the small village of Bathampton, is called up to the British Army during the waning days of the Second World War. After watching his childhood best friend depart a year earlier for Burma, he must endure the horrific trials of warfare during the final thrust through North-West Europe alone. As he struggles to survive in the wheat-fields of Hill 112, the Seine river, the disastrous Operation Market Garden, the freezing Ardennes, the Reichswald Forest and the climactic crossing of the Rhine, he must do all he can to bring himself and his comrades back home alive. - The Third Year Ongoing

Warning: This story revolves around the era of WWII, so there are descriptions of blood/fighting/etc.; a content warning will be posted at the start of each chapter :) - Never Look North Ongoing
