23-year-old Celai (sa-lay) LaCroix should have died in a horrible accident, but instead, she wakes up beside the man who is responsible for her making it to the hospital, Julian Westbrook. God had put him there to be her knight-in-shining-armor, however, the "hero syndrome" doesn't seem to wear off. Surprisingly, it wasn't the first time the two met. Celai was a frequent attender of Disciples of Truth Church, while Julian was the pastor-in-training. It may seem like a coincidence, like the world was just small, but in fact, it was the Lord putting them together. Now, it was up to them to realize, sit back, and watch God unfold His blessings for them. However, Celai has her mind in the future and her hero has his in the past. Neither being in the present is sure to provoke a mountain of issues. Bible verses are in NIV, NLT, and KJV translations 💛 - Leaving the 99 Complete

The life of a Christian is a life of confession. And this book hopes to encourage that. This book contains faith-filled confessions that will stir up faith and plant seeds of beautiful things in your future while uprooting the weeds you had sown in the past. All this can be achieved by a change in the way you speak. Like a chain reaction, this affects how you act, what you do, how well you do and your life in general. Words are powerful and should be used right. - Day of Salvation | Issue #14 Complete

One of the things that is super charged, super subjective (meaning emotionally-driven), and political now. . . LGBTQ+. The Church has gotten better about talking about it, but it's still a topic that is avoided and stalled with a simple, "It's a sin, period, done, move on." Here, I found Scripture to talk about each major aspect of LGBTQ, mixed in a little of the sociological knowledge I gained that I found to be Biblically sound and accurate, AND presented a broad guideline for how to approach this topic. Again, you WILL get offended, you WILL get uncomfortable. That's why this is called the Uncomfy Study. My only requests are be kind and professional in any conversation and read the message fully and prayerfully before coming to your own conclusion. I want to talk about apathy. If we view hate as the opposite of love, then apathy is the opposite of empathy. If empathy is the ability to feel and share in the suffering and joy of those around you, then apathy is the inability to do so. As Christians, who are called to be empathetic and compassionate, apathy is dangerous. But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life." (Jude 1:20-21) It is important to keep our faith strong and healthy. As we care for our physical bodies by providing for its needs and protecting it from injury or sickness, we should also care for and protect our spirit and faith. We must provide for our spiritual needs and build up our spiritual bodies so they will be strong enough to fight off anything that will try to penetrate them. Sometimes in order to be able to stop a physical sickness, we need to know the cause, or where it came from, first. These spiritual "illnesses" work the same way: in order to understand them and, when needed, cure ourselves of them, we need to know what they are and what causes them.
