An in-depth adventure in to the Human Body. How well do you know yourself? Are you scientific minded, interested about the human body and the way it works; curious about how our bodies have evolved certain characteristics and traits, or you just enjoy knowing great interesting facts? Well if you are, or you do, then this book is perfect for you! Interesting facts about the human body is designed for those people who have a passion for biology, physiology or anatomy, but most importantly people who are curiously minded who just enjoy learning and reading about great interesting facts. Interesting facts about the human body is a three part collection designed to cover most areas of the human body in no particular order. Knowing facts can help stimulate a better understanding, make it more enjoyable and most importantly, inspire learning about the human body. Also, let's be honest knowing various facts will provide you with that time to shine amongst your social group and they are always a great conversation starter. However, we must say although these facts are provided from a variety of reputable sources, scientific research and evidence is disapproved every day, and some research conducted may not be as strong or may provide conflicting evidence. This doesn't mean the facts provided are wrong, but overtime they may change slightly, but this does not stop the facts being very interesting and great to know. When studying Biological sciences at university I always enjoyed learning random facts about my subject and found that facts helped me learn those difficult mechanisms and weirdly long words. But more importantly it was interesting facts that first alerted me to pursue an interest in science and in this case the human body. This book really is a great read to help bypass those little gaps in your day to day life, so have fun and hope you enjoy. Also, please write a review and let others know your experience of this book 'interesting facts about the human body.' - Fluke Complete

"For a place called Paradise City, this island sucks. I don't think a single day has gone by that I haven't thought about stabbing the shit out of myself," he said. "Especially since I'm forced to live with you every second of every day." "Sh. I'm trying to science," I said, not looking up from my binoculars. "See anything interesting?" "Not really. My vision's a little clouded from the fog and rain clouds you constantly emit." He laughed. "You never fail to amuse me, Rea." "But you just said-" "I just said you make me want to stab myself. Interpret that however you'd like." With a love for whales and all life (besides maybe humans), Reagan Winebrenner had never even seen an ocean until her senior year in high school. But the moment she saw her first humpback, she knew she had found her passion and future career. A few years later and an invitation to Paradise City in hand, Reagan has her entire summer laid out for her, working on the project of a lifetime. But with five other students completing their projects as well, will they discover something worthwhile, or will they end up a psychology lesson for future generations? The Architects of New Eden invites readers into a futuristic world where humanity's last hope for reclaiming its lost natural heritage lies within the walls of a state-of-the-art bio-dome. This sanctuary, a modern-day Eden, is designed to preserve and revive species long vanished from the earth. Ava, a young and idealistic geneticist, takes center stage in this daring narrative. Tasked with the monumental responsibility of cloning extinct species, she begins her journey with high hopes and a clear mission. But as she delves deeper into the science of resurrection, she forms an unexpected bond with Echo, a cloned dodo bird that becomes a symbol of her growing doubts about the role of humans in nature's design. As Ava navigates the complex moral landscape of her work, anomalies begin to surface, revealing that cloning can bring unforeseen consequences. The story escalates when a symposium challenges her views, pushing her to confront the scientific community's skepticism and the ethical implications of her actions. Faced with genetic anomalies and the breach of a predatory clone, Ava's ethical crisis deepens. She must make tough decisions about the future of her projects, weighing the benefits of scientific advancement against the risks of ecological disruption. The climax of the story sees Ava advocating for a shift from resurrection to conservation, arguing for the protection of existing ecosystems over the artificial recreation of lost species. The Architects of New Eden is a poignant exploration of the interplay between creation and conservation, ethics and responsibility, and the delicate balance of life itself. This story challenges us to consider whether humanity can-and should-attempt to play God with the tools of modern science. - Starsnatcher - Trapped In An Alien World [COMPLETE] Complete

It begins in the year, 640.6, 50 years after the last Great War was done between the superpower alliance of Iron Cross and ATLAS. The World is at peace, though there are the occasional hiccups of humanity's hubris of the odd terrorist organisation doing mischief here and there, or the other petty territorial skirmish between small or large nations also here and there. Despite the organised chaos, it is a much better world than it was prior to that era of peace. Especially in the age of Interstellar Colonisation and Expansion. In which cooperation is very much needed to allow humanity to finally break out it's carapace called, the Solaris System, and finally give their motherland, Earth, a new green and blue friend. Luckily for them however, humanity isn't doing as bad as predicted in the 21st century. Humanity have expanded and have reached for the stars quite literally. They have colonised and terraformed multiple planets and moons, use the powers of the stars for near infinite energy, created technologies bordering scientific fiction and the supernatural... Yet... They are alone in the vast stars. No-one is there, but them. At that point, humanity have accepted the fact that they are truly alone. Though there were times of false alarms, there was none. It has even got to the point of, whether or not to dismantle the large military of humanity if the closest threat they got is among themselves. Not that they would though, humanity of course will keep it's fangs if threatened. And those fangs were about to be answered, together if whether or not humanity is truly alone in the universe with the presence of one of their colonies, System 698-Beta. Whom is about to witness one hell of a 1st Contact, in the first and most definitely not last, in human history.
