'Red is the colour of passion' is a collection of poems on feminism and the importance of gender equality. The poems speak about the power of women, the strength of feminism and sometimes how society's views on many things are often outdated and inaccurate . I hope you can connect with these poems , and find your own meaning in them too. I chose the colour red as it is the colour of love, hate, anger, and above all - passion. Feminism (despite what the name may suggest) is the belief that ALL men and ALL women are equal regardless of race, sexuality, wealth, appearance or belief. This means racists or homophobes as two examples, are not feminists ❤️ I hope you enjoy as always, and I'd love to hear your feedback. Comment any feedback or suggestions and vote for a poem so I know you like it. I really enjoyed putting these poems together, so I hope you'll also love them 💞 Note: ~ Have posted full collection of all ten poems now. In the year 2258, society is virtually perfect. Gender and racial inequality is nonexistent, and most of the problems we currently face have been wiped off the face of the earth. Ellie Maisie Rosenthal is a workaholic defense attorney who has befriended a few people in politics and has a very stable life. But she would soon come to learn that the world wasn't perfect. When a white male supremacist movement takes over and stages an international coup, Ellie Maisie and her friends are put in a training facility so they can adjust to this new society, sacrificing mental, emotional, and physical health. It becomes clear that gender inequality is an issue that won't easily go away, and she doesn't know how she will get out of this alive. This is my first novel, go easy on me, but I'm proud of it. Michael wasn't the type of guy to fall for just anyone. It wasn't his fault he turned out to be gay. If not for his father claiming it was a good thing, he wouldn't have questioned his sexuality at the age of 12. He didn't have a thing against homosexuals, but not many people in his city accepted him. Moving to another country was his best option and that's exactly what he did. Sydney wasn't your typical girl. Opposite of Michael, she went after any and every person who showed interest in her. She didn't grow up learning the pros and cons of being bi. Her mother didn't seem to care and her father was barely around to care. Her best friends were guys who had dated each other, putting the thought in her head that being a homosexual was the way to live. During a vacation for Sydney and her friends and Michael's big move, Sydney literally falls into his arms. Michael is hesitant about having a new girl friend, considering many girls always threw themselves at him without knowing he was gay. Sydney was more hesitant about Michael's sexuality. Though she had surrounded herself with her gay friends, she couldn't figure out if he was gay or not. As the relationship between the two grow, they began to realize their true feelings for each other. Is it just a phase or is it really affection? Sydney's friends try to convince her not to get too close to him. Michael's parents are equally happy with his sudden change as it was his choice. Will they continue to be the friends they thought they were? Or will this accidental meeting turn unto a strange passion? © 2020 💦XÃÑĐŘÍĄ Starting date: September 14, 2020 Ending date: November 23, 2020 Edited Starting date: May 16, 2021 Ending date: May 17, 2021 - Farkle Has a Girlfriend? Short poem on Feminism I am a proud feminist . Remember :- Feminism is never equal to man hating It is based on the belief that men and women have equal potential and capabilities . We all are human and deserve the same respect and treatment . Never underestimate anyone . Feminism is men's issue too as they can't express their emotions openly . We all need to participate in this movement to achieve complete gender equality . Short poem on Religious discrimination - Forget religion . Be yourself and be a good person . Remember all moral codes and be dedicated . You will be a human being . Worship God the way you want - that won't separate you into any religion or require you to visit any religion place . Short poem on Animal Cruelty - #animalcruelty #animalrights Believe me , they deserve much more love than we give them .
