Everyone at school knows Andrew Jennings. Missing an arm. Openly gay. But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. And as the two boys begin to connect over their shared grief, depression, and teenage angst, they might just discover a little pocket of happiness for themselves -- if they're willing to fight for it. In Terranevo's desolation, Kody succumbed to grief's unyielding grip. Each day plunged him deeper into the bleak stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and reluctant acceptance. Lumine's return as a ghost, far from offering solace, cast a haunting pall over Kody's existence, a constant reminder of the void left by loss. Their spectral dance through the shadows of grief unearthed the relentless nature of sadness, revealing a bitter truth - some wounds may never truly heal. - grief Complete

{Highest rank: #222 in Poetry} "They say beauty is to be noticed, so she hid hers." o..oo..o This is the tale of the girl that tried so hard to be invisible. This is the story of a boy who went everywhere with a spotlight over his head. But most importantly, this is the story of how he noticed the beauty inside and not just outside of the weird and outcasted girl. And soon enough, love touched his scarred and broken heart, as well as her closed and guarded heart too. Until death tore them apart... And he dug a hole for himself, using grief as a shovel. And it was so deep, he wondered if he could find his way out. And, more importantly, if he even wanted to find his way out. o..oo..o - Time to let you go Complete

"Hey, Lukey?" I heard my twin call as he once again walked into my room without knocking. I chose to ignore his presence just to teach him a lesson. "It won't stop bleeding and I'm starting to feel dizzy." "What?" That caused me to look up at him, and what I saw made my eyes widen and my chest tighten in fear. Jai was holding a blood-soaked towel tightly around his bleeding wrist. "Jai, what happened?!" I was immediately up and inning to his aid. "I had an accident, I guess." He answered vaguely. I narrowed my eyes at him as I rushed him into my bathroom and tried to stop the bleeding. He looked away when we made eye contact, so I knew he was obviously lying. "Jai..." I whispered when I unwrapped the towel and got a good look at his wrist. It was obviously self-inflicted, there was no denying it. "You wanna tell me the truth?"
