This is the story of Pepper Potts and Tony Stark. This is the story of Tony's very first love and although he will argue the point, she will be his only love. Pepper has always been there and, fuck, if Pepper isn't just the best thing that Tony has ever had in his life then let him be damned. Their roots run deep, deeper than Howard could understand, than the media, hell, deeper than Tony could even understand.
If you give something to Tony Stark he has the impulsive desire to fix it even if it isn't broken but when you give him something that can't be bought or built by machines or tools, and Tony is in deeper water than he could even imagine. That isn't to say he doesn't love every minute of it.

This is going to be a Pepper Potts/Tony Stark fic. I know I have a fic already on the go but I'm bored of it for the time being and want to focus on another story for the mean time.
