Next Day, At Arjun's House.....
His room was a complete mess. Everything was scattered everywhere. Literally the room was upside down, unlike usually, when everything was neatly arranged and there was not a speck of dirt anywhere.

Kalpana comes in with coffee for Arjun.
Surprised....
Kalpana: Hey Arjun, enna aachu. Room usually romba clean ah arranged ah irukkum. Inniki enna da aachu..

Arjun (who had just taken a bath, worn his coat and was getting ready): Amma, ennode medical kit ah kannom ma. Romba mukkiyam. Daily naa hospital kondu poven. Athula ella basic necessities um irukkum. Rummaging through his stuff frantically...

Kalpana: Inga than Arjun irukkum. Tension aagatha. Intha coffee soodu aarida poguthu. Kudi. Hands him the coffee.

Arjun: Ayyo amma. Neram Kaalam theriyama Neenga Vera. Ippo coffee ah mukkiyam. Rushes out and reaches Ashwin's room.
Dei Ashwin. Nee ennode medical kit ah paathiya. Intha room la by mistake vanthurcha?

Ashwin (getting ready) illaye Anna. Naa paakalaye. Ippothan case file laam pack panni vechen bag la. Inga ethuvum illaye.
Arjun: Sari po. Goes to Deepa's room.

Deepa was still fast asleep. Arjun yanks her blanket and calls out.
Arjun : somberi somberi...thoongita irukka. Mani 8 aaguthu. Hey Deepa!

Deepa (mumbling in her sleep): Ayyo. Tsunami anna vanthutare. Enna Anna venum. Nadu rathrila disturb pannitu. 🥱🥱

Arjun: Nadu rathriya?! Deepa, ennode medical kit ah paathiya?
Deepa: Anna, naa ethuvum paakala. Neeye thediko. Room la irukka nu.
Arjun snoops around Deepa's room for a while and after a futile attempt, leaves the room.

He gulps down the coffee and goes down. Seeing Arjun come down frantically, Annapoorni smiled to herself. She knew what was up. She knew that Arjun was searching for his medical kit because she was the one who hid it. 😅

[ FLASHBACK:
The previous night, when everyone was fast asleep, paati sneaked into Arjun's room. Paati was tired of Arjun's over dedication towards his work. He hardly spent time with his family. He always used to run to hospital at odd hours on getting phone calls. He used to leave early in the morning and return home late night after everyone had finished their dinner. Hence he was never at the dining table. He used to come home late at night, silently take a plate of food from the food kept in the fridge, take it to his room and eat it alone. Mornings were no better. He often used to skip breakfast and never had any time for himself. Paati was upset because he didn't care about his life or about getting married. So she wanted him to stay at home for one day and spend time with everyone. She also wanted to have an open discussion about his marriage. He wouldn't listen if she told him to do the same. She thought that the only way to do that was to hide his medical kit. It was very important for Arjun and he never went to work without that. So she sneaked into Arjun's room late night to hide his medical kit

It was 3 am..Arjun was fast asleep. So were the others. Paati silently tiptoed and reached Arjun's room. He was fast asleep
In Arjun's room
Paati (mindvoice): Ivan oru naalavthu veetula irukkana..eppodhum velai velai nu irukkan. Ippo kooda konja neram munnadi than vanthurpan. (Concerned) Saptano illayo. Sari, nalla thoonguran. Naalaiku oru naal aavthu Ivan veetula irukkanum. Athukku than intha plan.
Paati quietly rummages through Arjun's drawer, finds the medical kit, grabs it and goes back to her room. ]

Arjun comes down tensed and asks his appa, Sumathi Amma (the housekeeper), his aunt Yashoda and uncle Balu if they had seen his medical kit. But all of them nodded their heads dismissively. That's when Arjun remembered his paati. He caught one look of the expression on Paati's face and ran back to his room.

Ten minutes later, Arjun came down, went straight to Paati's room, found his medical kit (which was hidden under her bed) and appeared before paati smiling triumphantly. Paati was flabbergasted to see Arjun foil her plans and find his medical kit. Stunned, she asked Arjun how he managed to figure out the where it was.

That's when Arjun gave a sly smile and explained:
Paati, ellarkittayum medical kit pathi ketten. Lastla than unga nyabagam vanthuchu. Unga face ah paatha odane Enakku 70% doubt vanthurchu Neenga than antha kit ah naa hospital poga koodathu nu eduthirpinga nu. While others were happy that Arjun had found out his "lost" kit, paati was disappointed that her plan had gone in smoke. As Arjun made his way to the hospital, paati could only grumble:

"Dei..romba buthisali nu nenapo. Inniki eppdiyo ennode plan ah kandu pudichita. Innoru naal nee sikkamala poiduva. Anniki paathukaren da unna.....Intha paati ode kalyana aasaiya illa unnode doctor tholil ah nu paathurvom"😎
