chapter 6

Since im meeting jake i decided i need to look nice. Its hard to decide what to wear when you have so many clothes. I decided to wear a pink lace skirt and a pale white blouse with my silver braceltt my nan gave me.

I straightened my hair then curled it slighty at the bottom. I really wanted to make an effort especialy when i have a black eye i dont look at my best hehe.

I grabbed my bag a put my lip balm and my phone in it. I grabbed a quick snack then headed of to the buttercup feild were i was meeting jake. I had butterflies in my stomach i had a feeling something amazing was going to happen.

I went and sat in our special spot me and jake have always came here ever since we were little it seems so special and magical in a way. And just mine and jakes place.

In the distance i could see jake running to me i was so happy i stood up and opened my arms waiting for him to pick me up and spin me round like he always does and he did just that.

"Lucy!"

"Jake!"

" wow you look gorgeous" he said

" aww thankyou apart from my black eye though " i said. We both laughed.

We sat down next to each other then layed back and looked at the clouds.

" wow what a lovely day" he says still catching his breath

" i know its perfect" i say

" lucy ive got a lot of things to tell you." He says that in a slighty shamed way.

" ok im listening"

" the other day when you saw me a bit upset well that, was because i dumped beth."

" what really how come?" I ask him.

" well this is what i wanted to talk to u about" he turns facing me and puts his elbow on the floor and leans on his fist, we were face to face.

" over the years ive just got closer to you and ive been so blind and i have feelings for you lucy i really do and i want to be with you for the rest of my life." He pauses and waits for me to say something.

" jake, i couldnt be more happier that you have said that i have feelings for you too" i say

" i just love you so so so much lucy" he leans towards me. We kissed it seemed to last forever which was good. He pulls me up and twirls me round he says how much he loves me.

" youve been in front of me the whole time ive just been so blind to see it."

Then he said one thing i have been waiting so badly to here from him.

" lucy" he says

"Yes jake"

" you belong with me" he kisses me again.
