The Clone Ordinance Specialists of the 923rd Ranger Corps are the newest edition to their ranks. Unlike the normal Ordinance Specialists the ones within the 923rd don't just disarm explosives, they also deploy them into combat. The Ordinance Specialists of the 923rd are known to have several different airborne toxins for different uses, some against living organisms while others are designed for droids. When not deployed the Specialists are often seen within the science wing of The Fallen Blade, trying to see all possible effects of different forms of toxins. Their members are sometimes asked to be involved in interrogations if they have a new toxin that they wish to try. During the Second Battle of Umbara they were seen launching an early variation of the Krytos Virus into the atmosphere of Umbara, the experiment was designed to see if the Anti-Umbaran virus would work. The experiment would instead fail and merely cause the nearby Umbaran Banshee population to flee the area.
