TWENTY-TWO

Jisung and Chenle went to an ice cream parlor after school. They want to take a break from getting in distress. They were getting to know each other before Jisung got his move to court the Chinese boy. On the other hand, Renjun and Yangyang's relationship was getting stronger like JaeYong.

"We definitely have the opposite personality!" Chenle said as he scooped on his ice cream.

Jisung frowned at him and was confused. "All people were different."

"I was a very extroverted person, and you were so introverted and timid. And that's what I love the most." Chenle proudly said, raising his eyebrows and smiled at Jisung.

"I– I used to be so shy since I was young. It feels like I was like a prisoner and I rarely went outside of our house. It's also the reason why I don't have many friends."

"Then it changed, right? You have Donghyuck, Jeno, Jaemin and me. That's okay! I'm proud that you're growing up."

". . . You love to dance, and I love to sing. I have a high-pitched voice, and you have a husky and deep voice. You're even more mature than me, to be honest. Even if I'm one year older than you." Chenle continued but Jisung couldn't take his eyes off of Chenle. He didn't listen to what the Chinese boy was saying, he was just staring at him.

Good news, Sungchan's dad allowed Sungchan and Donghyuck to do their research in his company. However, Donghyuck was in Busan along with Mark. Sungchan decided to start it without Donghyuck, and he doesn't want to ruin the date. However, his confession to Hyuck suddenly came to his mind.

He paused for a minute, staring at the floor. He took a heavy breath and released it from his lungs. Sungchan washed his face and tried to focus but he just couldn't. I mean, why was it all so sudden and out of the blue? He just confessed to Donghyuck about his feelings, and asked him on a date.

Jeno was alone in the park, it's midnight. His eyes were swollen and he just cried all day long. After they broke up, he cut his connections to Jaemin, and after that... Everything went nothing. It broke his heart just like a broken glass. Jeno had no more tears to cry even if he wanted more.

"Why can't I be enough?"

He wanted to get mad at Jaemin but he couldn't. He loved him so much, and he gave everything he had for Jaemin. But it turns out that the moments he was with him, there's another person in his mind. It's his best bud, Lee Donghyuck.

"As long as he was happy with someone else, I'm fine with it."

Jeno tried to show a fake smile while thinking about his ex. Tears were falling down once more, goosebumps and electricity in his heart. He took his phone, and looked at their photos.

"Happy 9th monthsary, my Jaemin. I hope you'll be happy without me, or... Were you happy with me?"
