I remember.....
Those words wrap around me as a second skin
In that moment I know
You will disappear again
Recognition lost from those soft sultry eyes
Dark clouds blur all imagery of us, our life
Somewhere beyond the chained steel gates of your mind
We are locked, suspended moving backwards
The future you experience lies solely in the past
I, once more a stranger ever by your side
Can but smile and say I remember too
