I stood there waiting in the hallway intersection. Everyone was in class by now. I knew they'd be here soon. Ever since Mally and Shanel got together, my life was pointless. Mally's my best friend and way before she got with Shanel, I fell in love with her. Hard too. I heard their voices and seconds later, saw them walking down the hallway hand in hand. No, I couldn't have this. The waved to me. I put the knife to the killing spot.

I shoved the knifecinto my heart. I fell to my knees. Arms were instantly around me. Mally was holding me. Crying. My sight was blurry. Crying. I heard her screaming for help. Pleading.

"Sing" I choked out. She knew exactly what I meant.

"This is what I brought you, this you can keep. This what I brought you may forget me. I promise to depart just promise one thing..." she murmured

"Kiss my eyes and lay me too sleep" I managed to say.

And that's exactly what happened. Mally kissed my eyes and left me to sleep.

I woke with a start.

"That was just a dream," I thought to myself. Just a dream.

An idea came to my attention. I grabbed the phone and called Mally.

"What do you want at 2am in the morning?" She complained.

"Mally, I love you" I said.

"I love you too" she whispered.

"But what about Shanal?"

"She dumped me for some kid on the football team" she scoffed

Right then, life became better again.
