My poetry

Why come back

why did you come back,

i was perfectly fine without you,

its not a lie its a fact,

with you i was through.

why couldnt you just stay away,

do i want you to go,

or do i want you to stay,

i truly dont know.

my heart or my mind, to which should i listen,

i wasnt happy i know thats true,

you showed me what i'd been missing,

so could i possibly still want you,

this is all so confusing,

atleast for me it is,

you seem to find it amusing,

seeing me like this,

were these your intentions,

to simply prove you can still have me,

or were you not looking for attention,

did you really want to make me happy,

why did you come back,

now i dont know what to do,

its not a lie its a fact,

im still deeply in love with you.
