In the LGBT community, there are seemingly endless sexualities. However, so many of them go unheard of. One of those is Omnisexuality.
Omnisexuality is the attraction to all genders. Now, you may be thinking, "but isn't that Pansexuality?" I thought that too, when I though I was pan. But I was doing research, and I found out that Pansexuality and Omnisexuality are two different orientations.
Pansexuality is defined as "an attraction to all genders, without acknowledging the gender". This is also known as "gender blind". A common Pansexual motto is "Hearts Not Parts", which shows how they do not see gender.
Omnisexuality is "an attraction to all genders, while still acknowledging the gender". This means that they will date people they are attracted to. It's not that the gender doesn't matter to them, rather that they will date all the genders. Pansexuality means the gender isn't a contributing factor into who they will date, but both sexualities can lean toward or away from some genders. This doesn't change their orientation.
