STELLA STRAND USED TO CALL NEW YORK CITY HOME, but after the relapse that her brother suffered- she refused to forgive New York City, and the boy that broke her brother's heart. After the turn of events in her family, her father decides to uproot himself and TK to Austin, and gave Stella the option to follow. It wasn't expected of her to follow, but she did anyway. She found it hard to love the city that nearly took her brother away from her, and besides, Stella hated being away from her family.
AUSTIN WELCOMED STELLA WITH OPEN, and loving arms. Her father was rebuilding the fire station with the help of her brother, and Stella was attempting to find normalcy again. A new house and a new job in the county hospital surely put her on the way. However, now in Austin, her biggest goal was to help her brother recover from recent events.
HOWEVER, IT SEEMS THAT TK HAS THINGS UNDER control, and it's Stella that does not. Despite the happiness she's found in Austin, she's still full of anger. Saving TK turned into saving herself, and that turned into one of the hardest thing she's done.
THANKS TO THOSE SHE WORKS WITH, THE 126, AND HER family, Stella learns the importance of moving on. Once she gets that far, there's something so much better waiting for her- and spoiler, it's something Stella didn't expect.
