As I look out my window I see a girl
and right then i wonder what might unfurl
She sits silently by a lake
pondering her last mistake
what did she do wrong this time
and if it really was a crime
did she deserve the looks they gave
when all she's trying to do is be brave
to smile off all the hurt
just makes her feel even more like dirt
the comments that tear
as they just stare
the pain she hides behind a wall
to make sure she can't recall
all the pain they put her through
is nothing anyone could ever undo
