Percy vs Jason

Chapter 4

Percy's PoV
Jason and I stood  about 30 feet away from each other with our weapons drawn staring at each other while Chiron explained the rules. As soon as he was done Jason ran towards me leaping in the air and bringing his imperial gold sword down to my head, my battle reflexes kicked in and I rolled to the side, I uncapped riptide and slashed at him, he parried the attack and threw one of his own. We were a blur of slashed and parties for a time before I realized I was flying in the air, I crashed a farther away from the beach, I then realized his plan but I was too late, Jason flew into the sky and summoned a bolt of lightning that ricocheted on his sword blasting straight into me. I lay in the sand with the smell of burning flesh and melted bronze from my armour. Jason was still in the air and around him was swirling and dark and going up and down in the funnel cloud lightning, I did the analysis and I would die if I didn't get to the water fast, I picked up my sword and did something I've never than before, I looked straight at moist air thinking about water, then with a blast, water appeared from the air and made a shield around my self. Jason had powered up his blast straight towards me and came at me with the dark cloud and his weapon raised, I was ready for the attack and threw the water funnel straight at Jason. The bolt electrocuted the water giving it way more power and electrocuting Jason. Jason was in the sand electricity going up and down his body. I walked up to him saying sorry but he just growled of course and shot me straight to into the water, he looked at me and began to say sorry but I had had enough of this golden boy "you shouldn't have done that" I said and then used the power of the darkest part of my soul. Suddenly, Jason body became limp his eyes were wide and he looked like he had trouble controlling his own body, I shifted my hand and pushed it forward he immediately flew back hitting a tree. I walked up to him when a Annabeth's voice said "Percy stop please" I looked at her and felt my anger fade. My hands vibrated with power, the air around me crackled and my eyes were tinged with green
