Taliah's POV
As I walked into the airport, memories flooded through me. I stopped at the entrance to the plane and people shoved past me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before finally taking a step towards bagage claim. 3:19, shit! I silently cursed to myself and walked fast to baggage claim. If I wanted a ride I would have to keep up the pace. As I jogged through the airport, someone bumped into me.
"Hey, watch it, loser." the guy said. He was tall and had short blond hair. He looked fairly familiar but I didn't say anything. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. Then it hit me. That was Jack Jones, Caleb's cousin. I quickly turned around to say something but he was gone. I started looking for him but never found him. I sighed and went to get my over sized bag. I slowly pulled it outside by the pick up benches and plopped down on one. From my back pocket, I grabbed my Sam-sung Galaxy S lll and dialed Caleb's number.
"Yolo!" he answered. I could picture the grin on his face so I laughed aloud. A lady with her baby glared at me so I quieted down.
"Hey it's me. Can you come pick me up?" I asked quickly. He laughed.
"Already on it sistah!" he said smirking. I rolled my eyes.
"One, I am NOT you're sister and two, please please please do not call me," he cut me off before I could answer.
"POP TART!" He laughed hysterically. I rolled my eyes again and hung up on him before he could say another word. I put my phone back in my pocket. Caleb soon pulled up in a silver convertible with the top down. "Hey babe!" He said smirking. I took a deep breath and fake smiled.
"Aw, young love. I know what it feels like, falling in love! I hope you guys will be together forever." the lady with the baby said smiling.
"No ma'am, you don't understand. He's just a friend!" I said waving my arms around. Caleb came out and wrapped his arms around my waist. I blushed and swatted his arms away.
"Honey, I understand what it's like. You don't have to be so embarrassed!" She sweetly smiled and walked to a shuttle bus to go home. I stared blankly at where she stood.
"No!" I said before Caleb could say anything else. "Let's just go home." Caleb laughed and picked up my bags for me. As we got in the car, Caleb kindly smiled at me.
"Well I never got the chance to properly welcome you. So, welcome back pop tart!" I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Thanks, cheerio." He gasped at me.
"Uh, way to steal my nickname for Henry!" he said in fake shock. I laughed and turned on the radio to 'Forget You'.
"I see you driving 'round town with the girl I love and I'm like, 'Forget you!' I guess the change in my pocket, wasn't enough so I'm like, 'Forget you! And forget her too!' So if I was richer, you'd still be with me. Huh well ain't that some shh(Ain't that some shh)! Even with this pain in my chest, I still wish you the best with a, 'Forget you!'" We laughed and sang and eventually ended up in Caleb's driveway.
"So, I have some good news, medium news, and bad new. I'll start with the medium news. Well the Jones' are here. They're here for 2 weeks, just like you and now I'm gonna say the bad news. Me, you, and Jack are sharing a room." he paused and suppressed a smile on his face. "So um, you can have whatever bed you want. I mean I have like the biggest bed room so they're is plenty of space and I still have like 4 beds in my room. You can even have 2 if you want, I don't care. SO now is the good news. You have better brought jeans, plaid or flannel, riding boots, and a cowboy hat, 'cause me, you, Jack, Pete, Lucas, Claire, Catherine, Mary Anne, Kayla, and Jackson are going to Mackinac Island and staying there for a couple days at this cottage that my parents rented for us." I smiled.
"You're joking, right?" I asked surprised. He shook his head.
"Defiantly not! I'm really excited to see everyone! And hang with you but we're not going until a couple days so we have time to chill with each other." I smiled and got out of the car. "Anyways, I have an idea! We should hide you somewhere in the house and then I"ll say that you got lost and I went inside to look for you but you weren't in the airport so then I grabbed your bag and left and then I tried calling you but your phone sent me straight to voice mail so i figured it was dead. Watcha think?" I raised and eyebrow at him and laughed.
"Yeah sounds good! Let's do it!" We walked in together and then I went and hid on the steps to the basement.
"I'm home!" Caleb yelled. I heard footsteps from above and below. My eyes widened as I tried hiding myself in the corner.
"Taliah? Is that you?" someone asked. I gulped and shook my head.
