Save me (a josh hutcherson one shot)

I lied in bed awake waiting for my parents to go to sleep I could tell they were still awake because I had my door open just a bit and I could see the light from the hallway. My parents usually turn the hallway light of when they’re going to bed and because it was still on it meant that there still awake. The reason why I’m waiting for them to go to sleep is  because I’m sneaking out of the house to go night surfing with my friends at the beach’ but my parents won’t let me go because they say it’s dangerous surfing at night because of the sharks. After a while I see the hallway light go of so i walk to my wardrobe and got changed into my  light blue bikini   suit and  I slide my window open and jump out ‘ it wasn’t  that big of a drop because my house is really small.

The beach isn’t that far away from my house it’s only a 10 minute walk’ I walked to my dad’s van and grabbed my white surfboard with blue patterns on  the bottom of it out of the boot. I looked at the sky and it was pitch black it was a full moon tonight it looked like a nice night to go surfing. I have been surfing since I was 10 my dad told me how to surf and ever since then surfing has been my life ‘ I’m actually really good at it. I started running to the beach and after a while I was there’

When I got there I was greeted my 5 friends’ Damon’ dean ‘Sam ’phobie and page.

“Hey soph “Damon greeted ‘my name is Sophie but my friends call me soph

“Hey” I replied.

“How come you were late” dean asked

“Yeah we were all meant to meet here at midnight and its 12: 30 pm” page said.

“Yeah um sorry about that I had to wait for my parents to go to bed”.

“Oh ok its fine” page said with a shrug

“How did you sneak out anyway? I sneak out by just walking out the front door when my mum was in the toilet she didn’t even notice” phobie said.

“Oh well I sneak out my window I waited until my parents were asleep then I climbed out of the window it was really easy being how my house is small and everything” I replied.

“How much of a drop is your window”? Sam asked

“Around a meter drop” I said.

“You’re lucky the drop to my window is 6 meters” Damon said

“Seriously”? I asked.

“Yep” he replied
