The Sea

My vision has begun to swim

And I have been sucked in

By the whirlpool of thoughts

That muddle my brain.

I get lost in the ocean

And drown in its confusion

But perhaps I've poisoned the water

With my own uncertainty.

My vision has begun to swim

And I have been sucked in

Unable to fight the of sin waves.

Oh how they laugh at me

And ridicule my inability

To see what's in front of me

But perhaps I've ruined my own eyes

With my own insecurity.

My vision has begun to swim

And I have been sucked in

For now I sink slowly.

Letting the rush of reality consume me

I find that I don't mind

Not pulling the strings.
