chapter 6

Jordans' p.o.v.

"I don't even know where to start" I said, as we sat close to each other on my bed.

"Start from the beginning" she said. I glanced at her hand that she placed on mine. She smiled at me and i felt my heart skip a beat.

She is so beautiful. I hope she doesn't freak out when i tell her about us being mates. I intertwined our fingers together and told her all about werewolves...

"There are five types of wolves. Each class is based on what phase of the moon a werewolf is born under."

She nodded her head for me to continue, when i looked at her to see if she was following.

"So what are the types of wolves?" She asked, pulling her legs up on the bed and crossing them Indian-style.

"There's Vitra, Pariox, Pariox, Librar, Credas, and Umbra wolves. Vitra wolves are born under the full moon. They are very strong warriors. Their aggressive, hot-headed, temperamental wolves. They have the hardest time controlling their wolf. As you saw with me when i got angry, i almost lost control and shifted."

"So, your a vitra wolf?" She asked.

"Yes," I replied. " Most alpha wolves are VitrAsus"

She gasped. " Your an alpha?"

I smirked at her, puffing out my chest, i said " Yes i am, I just took over as alpha when my father stepped down a couple months ago"

"Wow.....okay." She looked impressed. I grinned like an idiot, glad that i could impress my mate.

" Okay to continue" i said " The Pariox wolves are born under the gibbous moon."

" What's a gibbous moon?" She asked.

"A gibbous moon Is when the moon is more than half full but not yet quite full. Pariox wolves are very likable and personable.They are creative and passionate. They are fearless warriors who are confident, without having the intimidation the vitra wolves are known for."

"The librar wolves are born under the quarter moon. They are usually able to easily balance their wolf and human sides, so they have the best control. They are great advisors, negotiators and dominates. They ate often the peacemakers of a pack because they can sere both sides of a situation and can make a person see reason."

"Credas wolves are born under the crescent moon.They are smart, usually bookworms or nerds. They tend to overanalyze sometimes but they have very keen minds. They are usually very good at judging a wolf or persons nature."

Last, the umbra wolves who are Boehm under the new moon. They are often the rogues or troublemakers. They show a lack of respect for werewolf society rules. They are often clever deceptioners and the voice of dissent."

Liana squeezed my hand and asked quietly, "Were the wolves in the clearing, umbra wolves?"

I squeezed her hand back and said "Yes. Me and my beta and gamma, Richard and Noah who you met, were our for a run. At the same time we were keeping watch out for any rogues..We were heading back when i smelt you and had a feeling to go in a certain direction."

I smiled at her "That's when I came upon you and the rogues . I notices that the rogue named Carter was using his gift on you..."

"Wait a minute! Did you say gift? What do you mean by gift!" She asked anxiously.

I scooted closer to her on the bed and took her other hand.

"Every wolf has certain gifts they possess. Most wolves only have one or two gifts that they can use. Carter was using what we call mindcrawling. Its the ability to manipulate memories or past events."

"Is that why I kept feeling an uncomfortable tingling in my head?

She asked.

"Yes, usually when a wolf is using his gift on someone they feel that tingling.The only thing about using a gift is that the wolf had to have complete concentration to use it. So when i attacked him, her lost his control over you."

" I felt very confused at first but then i could remember correctly that I didn't know him. I remember him telling me that he had saved me from a robber and that we became friends..."

"Wait a minute, you remember what he planted in your head?

"Yeah, i do. It was fuzzy at first, but i clearly remember it."

That's weird. That's not supposed to happen with humans, i thought, squinting my eyes in confusion.

"What's wrong," she asked " Is that not supposed to happen?"

I looked at her and smiled slightly.

"No, that's not supposed to happen with humans. Usually only wolves remember, but with humans its like they don't remember anything about a wolf using their gift on them.It's almost like having their memory wiped clean.....it's very strange that you can remember, I'll have to look into this....."

"Hmmmm, of course, i have to be the odd one out..." She said laughing

"Okay, so what gifts do you have?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Because i'm an alpha, I have all the possible Vitra gifts. There's demolition, destruction and healing, immunity, modification, regeneration, scouting and venom. Basically, all very powerful gifts that makes me an even more powerful and stronger alpha wolf.

"Okay" she said, fidgeting.

She's taking all of this very well, to my amazement. I just hope she'll be able to handle being my mate, cause there's no way that i'm ever going too let her go!

"Are you going to tell me the rest?" She said looking up at me, cautiously.

I looked at her and smiled.

"Do you know what soulmates are?" I asked her gently.

"Kind of," she said.

"Well a soulmate is someone that is your other half.The person that completes you. There is only ever one for a wolf. Your soulmate is the person you would die for, you would die without them. Wolves wait their whole lives to meet their mate. "

"So what does that have to do with me." She asked.

I smiled and lifted my hand up to cup her face. I looked into her eyes and said,

" It had everything to do with you because.... Your my Mate!"..........

There's chapter 6. Sorry it took so long. I'm hoping to have chapter 7 done by the end of the week.
