Life as Kina

CHAPTER ONE

~CHAPTER ONE~

Walking into Demitrius' bedroom Kina was bawling and crying as if the world had just ended. Kina was an African- American Asian with long jet black hair reaching the middle of her back. She had big brown eyes, a curvy body and a nice caramel complexion. Wearing only pink briefs and a stripped vest, Demitirus thought she looked hot.

Demitrius was her bestfriend since they were in elementary school. He and his family moved to the States when he was only a baby. He only kept one secret from Kina, he was a Vampire. A sexy one at that. He had short, red edged hair, piercing green eyes and a firmly toned body with a light tan. Demitrius had a huge crush on her since they hit puberty but he was too afraid to tell her. He was always tempted to sink his razor sharp fangs into her beautiful neck but he didnt want to cause her any pain. His desire was growing more and more everyday, he could bearly contain himself when she was near.

At twenty they were both very successful in law and accounting. Kina had her own law firm set up all across the globe which were used by governments and the rich and famous. Since Kina absolutely loved New York that was where she was based. Demitrius on the other hand was based in LA with a massive interational accounting firm he inherited from his grandfather. They constantly spoke on the phone and made frequent trips to visit each other. on this occasion Kina came to LA to shop and pay him a long awaited visit.

They both in relationships and Demitrius' girlfriend, or sex buddy as Kina called her, was in Paris. Kina's boyfriend Stanely was very anti-Demitrius and did not like the fact that they spent so much alone time together. Stanely and Kina had been together for a year and Demitrius had known things about him that he didnt like. He was quite adamant that Kina came to visit, he wanted to tell her all about her "beloved" Stanely. She was both grateful and saddened at the stunning revelations.  

When Demitrius heard them arguing late last night, he knew exactly why. He always got rid of her boyfriends and Stanely was just too easy. Her cries were painful to hear but he knew they were for a greater good.  

"What's wrong beautiful? Why the tears so early in the morning?" he asked her sitting up in his bed. "Did he tell you the truth?" he continued moving to sit infront of her. She nodded at his words. "Yes!! I cant believe he would do that to me. We were so good together!" Kina cried in response. "Come here babe, dont cry over that creep" he pulled her onto his lap, drawing her head down on his shoulder. "He isn't worth it cara mia, you deserve better than that fool. You deserve the best. Kina darling, you deserve me." he finished and laughter erupted from her through her tears. "You're funny Demi. You and Tammy are together you can't just end that. And we're best of friends! Do you want to jepordise our friendship caro?" she said wiping away her tears.  

"Tammy means nothing to me, she's just a piece of ass. She's just an easy lay without any brains. She's a bimbo!" he took a deep breath, inhaling her sweet scent. "That's precisely why we should be together babe. We've known each other since forever and I know you like me and I love you." he said wrapping her in his arms.  

"True, but it would also cause major problems. I know EVERYTHING about you D. Plus we don't exactly live close to each other. I dont like my office here. I cant work here!" Kina told him expressively. "Cara, that's not a problem and you know it. I'll just open another office in New York, buy an apartment and we're good. I dont see it as a problem." he answered smoothly. "K, fine I guess I don't have any objections yet. I hope this will work out better than my last relationship. You know me well enough to know what to and not do, keep that in mind." she warned him sternly. "Consider your advice taken cara mia" was his last reply as he lowered his head to kiss her.  

He kissed her slowly and cautiously at first then the kiss deepened in intensity. He was kissing her as if his life depended on it. His fingers roamed over her body, leaving a trail of heat. Kina's dark hair was cascading around her as she straddled him on the bed. She could feel his hardness between her legs. Her vest was discarded now and her bra was unclasped. His fingers were pulling down her bra straps before she protested. "Caro, I think we should take it easy and leave this out for now. What do you say we go out and celebrate tonight? I have an appointment at nine and I have some shopping to do there after" his hand stilled. "Fine babe, no problem, anything you want. I'll get started with my work. I thought I would come live with you but you and Stanely are moving into your new apartment."  

She kissed him softly. "Dont look so sad babe. Me and that slimecall are not moving in together again. Mindy took care of that for me. I'll be staying in LA a little longer until i get a new apartment. We could move in together when i go back, what do you say?" she soathed him. "Cool, no problem sweetie" he glanced at his rolex and continued "It's already eight, i've got to go to the office as do you." he kissed her and gently pushed her off him. "Later babe" she kissed him and left the room. Demitrius fell back on his bed witha contented smile on his lips.

She's mine.
