Sonic came back into the room with a box, it looked old
"Ya know, he doesn't exist here" he stated as he put it down "this world should have been in ruins by now, because of 'Eggman' or because of Black Doom, or whoever else has tried to destroy the planet, you want to know why?"
"what are you going on about?" the Amy huffed as she looked at Maurice
"cause he's dead, Elroy knew if he sent me to a world that already have a version of me in it, i'd just be thrown back into the fight" He shrugged as he pulled out a paper and held it up, and Shadow took it from him and read it, but who's Elroy?
"...this is from twenty years ago"The hedgehog said as he glanced at Maurice "it...it says that a family of five died when their house mysteriously caught on fire while they were all sleeping, tow adults and...a set of triplets aged five...."
"Let me see that" Rouge said as she took it from the other "The adults names were Jules the Hedgehog a war hero, his wife Aleena the hedgehog and their children Maurice, Sonia and Manic were soon recognised by authorites, it was believed that it had been purposely lit...but no evidence was found"
"oh great we're dead here" Sonia muttered
"so any doubts now Knux? or do i need to throw you off your floating island for real this time?" My brother rose a brow at Knuckles who had a wide eyed expression
"what does this have to do with you Sonic?" i frowned at him
"it's because my names Maurice, my brother and sister's names are Sonia and manic, we're triplets...Our mother's names is...was Aleena and we didn't know our father, and that's not just some coincidence that those papers have the exact same names on it Tails" He said, his tone was sharp, the only time i had heard this was...was when we were younger...
"But that would mean..." Amy began to tremble
"Yeah, it's exactly what it means, it means that i'm from another zone, and our enemy is here" He stated
"Your are a fake" Shadow growled
"and you aren't?" Sonic rose a brow at him "I mean, you were created by humans, made from DNA of an alien, so how does that make you more real than me?"
Everything was silent for a long moment, the giant reptilian was asleep on the ground next to the Knuckles with the metal eyes, who seemed to be in shock, while the green hedgehog had a smug look on his face
"So" the lion started "You've been here, where the version of you is dead and haven't tried getting back? What the hell Maurice!"
"I never said i hadn't tried getting back Cy" Sonic stated "It's been harder than you thing, heck i've even tried using the chaos emeralds, which went horribly wrong each time; and shouldn't we be worrying about Elroy?"
"Right..." The lion muttered
"but one question" The armadillo stated
"And whats that?" Sonic rose a brow
"how did you get here?" "....I honestly don't know, the last thing a remember was being held by Dingo after they took my medallion and took me too Robotnik, he was going on about his victory and then put me in one of his devices he was testing there was a bright light and then darkness, then i woke up by a broken down plane" He shrugged
"That still doesn't make much sense" the other stated
