CHAPTER NINE

TIANA

I let out a pleasurable sound as Drake moves deeper within me. I dug my nails into his back, feeling an intense rush of pleasure from his actions. Drake's warm breath gently brushed against my ears as he playfully whispered.

"Not yet, Tiana," he said.

His voice caressed my name with a smoothness that sent shivers down my spine.

I gently pressed my lips against his, running my fingers through his silky brown hair. Our connection intensified as our movements quickened, and we both experienced an overwhelming release. We both momentarily caught our breath before Drake sat next to me. He reached for the cigarette on the nightstand and lit it.

"It's absolutely incredible." I grinned.

I embraced his muscular torso with my delicate arms, savouring the moment. He merely displayed a faint smile, yet his attention appeared elsewhere.

"Is something amiss?" I inquire in a gentle tone.

I delicately trace the contours of his muscles with my index finger. He emits a slight groan before locking his piercing blue gaze with mine.

"No," he said assertively.

He exhales a puff of smoke, seemingly stoic.

"Would you like to experience a shared shower?" I inquired.

He remained silent. He avoids making eye contact with me.

"I'll simply indulge in one on my own." I finally said, feeling irritated.

We just came from the restaurant, and Drake seemed so happy to see me, but now he's acting too distant for my taste. As I entered the bathroom, I rose from my bed and ran my fingers through my sleek, dark hair, muttering frustrated words in my native tongue.

I turn on the shower and feel the warm water gently cascading over my tired and tight muscles. Merda, Drake really goes all out. He always irritated me. I was just about to apply my apple-scented shampoo to my hair when I heard muffled voices in my bedroom. Instinctively, I twitched my blue eyes, a habit I developed from a young age whenever I felt that something was amiss. I turn on the shower and leisurely approach the door, leaning against it as I gaze at Drake.

"Kelly, why didn't you call?" he hissed in frustration.

But the girl he had just called abruptly ended the conversation without replying. He muttered something under his breath before tossing the phone onto the bed, his jaw pulsing with annoyance.

"Who is Kelly?" I inquire, and my envy coils within me.

"My fiancè," he said straightforwardly.

"A fiancè?" I ask again.

Tears well in my eyes, yet I manage to keep them from falling.

"Yes, are your hearing impaired?" He said.

Drake tossed his cigarette roughly into the ashtray. My entire body is being pierced by an intense sensation.

I stared at him in frustration. "Why didn't you tell me, Drake?" I raised my voice.

"Tiana, my visit here was to discuss about ending our relationship. I'm with Kelly now, and I hope this will be our final meeting," he whispered.

His gaze pierced into my very being, leaving me feeling vulnerable.

"No," I whispered softly. "So what did we do just now, is this supposed to be a farewell fuck?"

"A bachelor's last fuck." He jested.
