The Miracle Kiss

That little creature,

It caught my eye.

As he brought back my ball,

When he saw me cry.

Big round eyes,

His skin so green.

Goes tap tap tap,

As he sat beside me.

I gave him my word,

To have him under my wing.

He eats with me...

He snores on my bed.

A price I had to pay,

For the promise I made.

Watching me feel sad,

He offers me friendship.

What a stupid joke!

I heard my throat croak.

His eyes went big,

As tears welled up inside.

That made me realize,

I was taught to be kind.

I picked up the little frog,

And gave him a kiss.

A miracle occured in front of my eyes,

As he turned into a handsome prince.

Beauty personified,

My eyes were in awe.

Gone was the green color,

Here, stands the man of my dreams.

He holds my hands,

And said he loves me..

I felt I was on cloud nine,

Or, Was it yet another of the same dream?
