Dear reader,

I have something to say to you, something I've been thinking about for a while now, but never found the guts to do it. I-I'm so nervous to tell you this, but it's been eating me out for days and I need to get it out of me. Okay, just hear me out, don't freak out, alright? This is really important, like really, really important.

God! It's so hard.

*Sigh

Okay, I'll just say it.

Reader, I-I love you. I really love you.

Yes! I did it!

That's right, I do. I might not know you, or your name, who you are or any of the existing basing facts about you but without giving a second thought to it, I know that I love you.

Why, you ask?

Because of the simple fact that you are a reader. You read, it might be a single page anecdote or a massive trilogy, classic novels by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens or popular teen fiction on Wattpad. But all I care about is that you read and I love that about you.

Reader, I read somewhere once that a non-reader lives only one life throughout their lifetime, but a reader lives many. And you, my beautiful reader, have the most wonderful lives I could fathom. You are smart like Hermione, brave like Katniss, strong like Tris, poised like Elizabeth Bennet and clever and sassy like Hazel Grace Lancaster, but most of all you're beautiful like yourself.

Seriously, how are you so frikkin' gorgeous?

You, dear reader, have such beautiful eyes with the most exquisite sparkle in them; how they catch the faintest light making them shine and how you move them side to side with my words makes them even more beautiful. You're a fighter too reader, I can tell by the way you fumble with your fingers on reading tough words and when you sigh after a long day. I love how you smile on reaching a good part, or purse your lips and furrow your eyebrows whilst concentrating. It's so cute; I just can't help but adore you. And don't even get me started on the way you bite your lower lip when you're concentrating hard. You slowly slide your tongue from between the two lips and then dig the upper two teeth on your lower lip and GOD is that sexy! You look so hot when you do that.

What else? You're so beautiful; I don't get tired of looking at you. I love you and I'm so goddamn lucky that I got to love you. We haven't even met, I probably am a stranger to you but I feel like I've known you forever. Maybe because we breathe the same air, walk on the same ground, live in the same universe and read.

Reader, your passion for books is so enduring. You love books. You love that moment when you open one and sink into it, you can escape from the world you live in, into a magnificent story that is way more interesting everything else.

Why reach for the stars when you can reach for a book and have the stars, the sun and the moon all at once, right?

Reader, the best thing about you is that you understand the power of a book. You connect with the stories they hold, you feel happy, angry, mad, anxious and sad for the characters and sometimes even cry for them. Reader, you cry for them even if you know that the characters are not real. I don't know if you know the importance of this trait that you have. It shows how much of a caring and a loving person you are, feeling so gravely for something, something that you know isn't real.

Also, you know that a book is not just pages and letters, it's more than this, a book gives you hope, it makes you strong, it carries you through the dark, it allows you to spend a few moments - happily, it teaches you to live while we're young, it makes you feel alive, it takes you to another world, it exemplifies everything about you, it keeps you up all night even if you're knackered; in all honesty, a book is magic. Reader, I want and I wish to hug you, I would if I could. Reader, this is something great about you and all these little things are what makes you beautiful. Don't let anyone change that, because right now, nobody compares to you. Reader, you and I, we've got many things in common, we might get judged for it, but they don't know about us. So just stand up and walk proudly with your head held high! I know that one way or another, you'll rise above your problems and someone will fall for that irresistible beauty of yours. Till then I have one thing to tell you, that I'm truly madly deeply in love with you and that is the story of my life.

I guess this is it, but I hope after reading this, you only go to ONE DIRECTION and that is to the book store.

Yours truly,

Writer XOXO

PS I love you!!
