We talked for a while. We talked about music, art, stories, etc. We even looked at Instagram posts and Snapchat stories. We talked and explored.
At around 7, She decided to leave.
"You got everything?" I asked her.
"Yeah, just got my notebook." She responded. "So...may I see your phone?"
I blinked, then took my phone out of my pocket. "Sure..."
She took it, and begin to type. I dont know what she was doing, but it took five minutes for her to finish whatever she was doing before giving it to me. I looked through my phone. A few tabs were open. I knew what she did.
Not only did she gave me her social media accounts, she even gave me her phone number. Sally was in my contacts. It had a blushing smile emoji on each end. "I'll call you when I want to hang out with you. Or if I just want to talk or text." Sally told me before she left.
Nice, someone new I can talk to. Speaking of which...
I went to my Snap and began to text my best bro, Randy.
Randy and I are somewhat opposites. I take person space seriously, he barges in every conversation he thought was interesting, for example. But we have many things in common, like we're both artists in the making. And as expected, we have each others back.
Blake:Yo Randy!
Randy:I'm up. Wassup?
Blake:Ice cream place?
Randy:HELL YEAH! Its on me this time.
Blake:Ight, see you there.
I turned off my phone, told my parents where I'm going and who's going to be there, and went out to that ice cream shop.
Let me tell you, its one of the best hangouts where I live. With the variety of flavors and how huge this place is, its pretty much where us teens all go to. There are other places we can go, but 1:We prefer ice cream over arcades most of the times and 2:We don't smoke.
A few minutes later, Randy popped up and a backpat. "Yo, Blake."
"Yo, Randy." I said as I got up and fistbumped him. "You growing still?"
Randy laughed. "I thing Im going to stay 6'2. Thank you very much, Mr 5'7."
"Hahahahaha. I'm getting the usual."
"Got you. Chocolate Madness."
...
"So...any girls on you?"
"Hmm?" I hummed as a fist full of chocolate ice cream was in my mouth along with some M&Ms. "Uh...My new neighbor?"
"Oh...Sally!"
I went wide eyed a little. "Wait, you know her?"
"Yup, met her when I was working out. Saw her checking me out."
"I knew it. I fu- freaking knew it."
"Oof. You cursing. What is it now?"
I sighed, taking another mini scoop into my mouth. "She...talked to me. Been friendly to me. Gave me her phone number-"
"Lucky bastard!" Randy interrupted, laughing.
"Why?" I asked him.
"She told me she didnt have a phone or social media!"
