"Josh is amazing! I love him so much" My friend was boasting about her boyfriend Josh for the thousandth time. It was really starting to get annoying, but she seems to think he is the most interesting thing in the world.
"Cool, I guess." I said in an annoyed tone.
"You aren't happy for me?" She said stopping in her tracks staring at me.
" No, no I am." I said trailing off. She shrugged and kept walking.
"Hey, there's Josh i'll catch you later." I waved her off and headed to class. I have to admit Josh is pretty hot but he's Kailey's. I get to class with 5 minutes to spare, the teacher gave us her annoying lecture like always, and like always I fall asleep. Civics, and pre-algebra go the same way. I was really getting mad at Kailey for wanting to spend more time with Josh then she does with me.
I walk out the school doors to my car that's parked at the far end of the parking lot. I roll my eyes when I see Josh and Kailey leaning on my car kissing, I mean cant they find a room, or their own car!
I cough when I get to them to get their attentions. But I guess it didn't work, because they are still kissing like there is no tomorrow.
To be honest I really don't think Josh likes Kailey for you know Kailey. He has never told Kailey he loves her, or he never comforts her when shes upset. His excuse is "well I would baby but me and the boys are going out for pizza tonight." and she always believes him, he is probably cheating on her. Every time I tell Kailey that she yells at me and gets furious these are her exact words, " Stop being so stupid, don't get yourself in my love life." Love life? There is no love between you and Josh, you might have feelings towards him and he is the best thing that has ever happen to you, but its not gonna stay like that forever. You guys are gonna move on one day, and you will find a new boy to love and hold. Maybe just maybe he will be sweet enough to actually say I love you to his girlfriend unlike Josh.
Man that boy gets me mad, I do not no why in the world or how Kailey could like him, he is a jerk. I mean he is hot but if he is hot but a jerk then he is definitely not worth it.
"Kailey" I say hoping to get their attentions which I knew I was probably going to fail at it big time.
I say it again but this time I actually get an answer.
"Yes?" She says with her messy hair probably from Josh running his fingers through it.
"Your on my car, please move" I say gesturing to my car.
"Oh didn't even relize" She says laughing, its weird but she sounds like shes drunk. She and Josh move aside so I can reach my door. Thank you I wispher to myself not loud enough for them to hear.
"Hey, Riley i'm gonna need a ride home though." Kailey says looking up at Josh.
"Why cant Josh bring you home?" I ask.
" Oh because, his mom doesn't trust us both together....alone." She says smirking.
"Ewww, your gross. Just get in." She goes to the passenger side door. Waving to Josh.
This was going to be a long ride home.
