I was running on the field. Practice was hard as usual. The ironic thing was, even though it was the middle of summer, it was cold. In my jersey and shorts, the blistering wind whipped at my pony tail. Sweat beaded up on my neck and forehead as I raced for the soccer ball. My skin was stinging from the wind and sweat. I gained the soccer ball and made my way up the field. My other forwards were covering the defenders leaving me alone with the goalie. I took stutter steps and chipped the ball. It landed perfectly in the corner of the net. My team cheered for me and was rushing over to me. I had just made the winning goal against our arch rival. My team sisters reached me and gave me a group hug.

The whole field darkened and lightning cracked the sky. The ground shook and threw us all to the ground. A huge earthquake was taking place and we grabbed on to each other. Parents were rushing towards the field to their kids. I saw my mom stumbling forward. I yelled for her to stop trying and that I would be absolutely fine. She heard me and focused on not falling around. I looked at my team. They all had their eyes closed and were gritting their teeth. I held hands with Kaylie and Layla. They were my closest friends. We did everything together.

Thunder roared through my ears and lighting sparked throughout the sky. I tried to keep us from falling. The earth shook even harder and Kaylie, Layla, and I fell away from our team. I heard screams and cries. I pushed at the ground with my cleats and stopped us. We had slid a good five yards away from everyone.

"Aria! Don't let go!" Layla screamed at me.

I smiled. Why would I let go? I knew she told me because she could barely hold on anymore. I pulled Layla closer to me and wrapped an arm around her while keeping our hands in twined. I did the same with Kaylie. I saw lightning shoot down three feet in front of us and Kaylie and Layla screamed. I held them tighter and tried to sooth them by singing our song.

"When you are the one, the one that lies close to. Whispers, 'Hello, I've missed you quite terribly'. I fell in love, in love with you suddenly. That there's no place else I could be, but here in your arms."

They started to whisper the song with me and calmed down a little. Thunder continued roll around us and lightning came down, just missing us by a few feet. I prayed to God that he would keep us safe. These girls were my sisters. We were always together and they practically lived at my house. I saw another bolt of firey death come down in front of us and everything went black. Not that my eyes were closed or I had gone unconscious, the lights all over the world went out. The sun put on his shades.

I saw nothing for what felt like hours. It might have been a second of fifteen minutes but I couldn't tell. I screamed and tried to grab out for my sisters. I felt nothing. Then, like a wave from the ocean, light came over me. I was laying in a bed. The sheets were a silvery gray colour and there was two pillows. I looked around. The bed frame was wrought iron that looked like roses. There was a window that ran across two walls of the room. The walls were painted black and it looked like silver lightning was coming down from the ceiling. A black chandelier was hanging from the high ceiling. The room was furnished with a fold-out couch, a satellite chair, a desk, a computer, a long dresser, and a walk-in closet.

I heard a static noise and then a voice. "Aria Madeline Sanchez. Age: sixteen. Date of birth: October 30, 1994. Long black hair. Bright green eyes. Italian and Puerto Rican. Is this you?"

I was scared. How did they know all of that? The voice was deep and masculine. I figured if I wanted answers, I'd have to give some. "Yes." I spoke so quietly I doubted they would hear me.

"Just a moment." The voice spoke again.

I nodded my head and looked at myself. I was still in my turquoise soccer jersey, black shorts, turquoise socks, shin guards, and cleats. My hair was still up and my bracelet, one that Layla and Kaylie made me, was still on my wrist. I sat up in the bed and set my feet on the floor. I heard a loud buzzing noise and a big silver door opened.
