The giggles of children filled across the frozen lake. Playing and chasing one another. The little girl giggled at the boys she played with on the frozen lake. Even though she was older than the two boys, she looked up to them a lot. The little girls laughter stopped suddenly when she could feel the sudden crack. The last face she saw before falling into the frozen water was her mother Siggy, who had been following the children for some time.

Siggy watched in horror as her only living daughter fell into the frozen water.
"Asta! Ubbe! Hvitserk!"
Siggy ran forward across the frozen lake. Determined to save the three children. The mother pulled off her cloak before diving into the cold water.
Not realising that saving her daughter Asta and the Ragnarssons lives would be the death of this gentle caring mother.
