Wake up darling I'm not leaving without you

Grab your guns, put on your converse

I followed you into your bedroom

The moon is beckoning your name

We woke up late on Sunday evening

Tired from the night before

Open lips and you were screaming

I keep my heart right next to yours

And when we ride out to the ocean the restless world fades into black

For when we're all alone together

I feel like never looking back

Climb down softly from your fourth floor window

Crank the bike put on your helmet

Then wrap your arms around my waist

I swore I'd always keep you safe

We left the note with hidden meaning

Torn up & lying on the floor

Beside the bed where we layed dreaming

I felt my heartbeat next to yours

And when we ride out to the ocean the restless world fades into black

For when we're all alone together

I feel like never looking back

And if you feel like this is hopeless

I'll keep you safe just like I swore

Though this world may be infectious

Sugar let me be your cure

A/N: Okay so im not much of a story writer but i write poems/songs with story ideas behind them for my band. This one is about a guy and a girl in a post apacolyptic world where there's an evil corporationtrying to control everything and everyone so the guy and girl decide to stand up for the people and make a stand against the corporation. They are fugitives on the run, kind of like a Bonnie and Clyde type. This poem is about them and their love for one another and about them hiding out and being on the run from the law. Hope you like it!! ^,.,^
