‌I interviewed an ambassador next. I found AE_KIrk when I was reading over the ambassador's profile page. A truly talented author. So, without further ado, the interview:

Where do you get inspiration for your stories?

I get my inspiration from driving, or talking to strangers on the train or bus, or watching films, or my dreams.

How did you find out about Wattpad?

I used to be a fanfiction.net and wrote Harry Potter fanfics but wants a better layout for writing and randomly found Wattpad in 2010.

Who is your favorite author?

My fave author, so far, is Brandon Sanderson, but I also love Andy McDermott. I respect those guys very much,

Why do you think you did so well on this website? Did you do anything specific?

Not sure I did well, but I wrote an interesting and unique story. Tattoo, was featured and spotlighted on two other sites and then, Loving In Time was featured. I've been lucky. I don't write very well. I'm still learning, regardless that I've been published, but I do have unique stories.

Why did you want to become one of the ambassadors?

I was one of the rare few to be asked to be an ambassador by Eva Lau 3 1/2 years ago. She wanted trustworthy people and I fit the bill. I was and still am, one of the originals :)

Do you base your characters off of yourself?

Um, not the entire characters, but some of what my characters have said and done, I have used my own personal experiences to flesh them out a bit.

What was your reaction when you hit over 100k reads?

I was truly honoured and touched. It's nice to be appreciated. When I got to 2 million reads, that's when I fell off my perch and couldn't believe Tattoo and Loving In Time, had made it that far :)

Do you have any advice for up and coming wattpad writers?

Practice writing. Don't stop writing a book once you've started. Don't write what other people like, write what you want. Good luck!
