When you're a teenager, you spend a lot of time bemoaning life and wondering why everything is so hard for you to deal with... and why no one else seems to care about your troubles.
That's when a lot of writers start out; they drag out those emotions into the sunlight and put them into a journal or write poetry. It can be very cathartic and help an awful lot when you are struggling with something.

It's where I really started writing.

I wrote poetry as well. I've kept some of the better ones (and thrown away so many terrible ones) because they ended up in print in Poetry Collections.

I didn't stop there when I started writing short stories and novels though. My poetry changed; it became something that I did occasionally and not really all that seriously. I've toyed with the idea of putting it into a collection and publishing it myself, but I don't have enough yet.

So I'm going to collect it here and once I have enough, maybe I'll publish it.

Feel free to read it and comment if you like.  Just remember that not all of it is intended seriously...
