Inbetween Generation

I am the in-between generation

I look around me and I see depression angst and some are doing well for themselves

It saddens me when I hear someone two years younger then me, say the only reason for a car is to have the AUX

It hurts me to see that they abuse their hours and their parents

I am the in-between generations who turns 18 this year

I look around and see important people who do well and are succeeding

I look around and see the younger generation taking ignorant advantage to what they have

And they don't say I love you because that's not what they were taught

They were taught to hide and fit in

I am the in-between generation who doesn't know how to fit in because we weren't taught

I am the in-between generation that started with computers and the world is changing the world is constantly changing

I am the in-between generation in between the changes

I've made it this far because of the lessons and blessings my parents have given me; the people they have surrounded me with

I am the in-between generations who wishes she was back a generation

She was with another generation learning from her las generations mistakes

I am the future generation and I am the past generation

I am the in-between generation who wants to fix everything but doesn't know how

I am the in-between generation who wishes she could do better

I am the in-between generation who wants to be all about the new craze and all the hipster and all about his new pop music but can still appreciate the classical music and classic rock

I am the in-between generating that doesn't know whether its hipsters or technology that is more important

I am the in-between generation that thinks a car is more freedom but an aux is more important
