It seemed that I had forgotten how to breath. Obviously not completely or I'd be dead, but ever since I met Alec, it seemed I couldn't catch my breath. He left me completely stunned and on my toes. I never knew what to expect from him, or from anybody as a matter of fact. I was about to embark on my first school day since I had met Alec, and I was completely, utterly nervous. What if he realized I wasn't good enough for an Alpha? How would people treat me when they found out I was his? Would they fall to my feet like they do to the school slut Kelly? Or would they look at me like I was the dirt from their grandmother's farm?

"But you love me." I spun around and glared at Alec. Did he seriously have to go all Twilight on me? Normal people don't creep into other people's windows! God did he look fine though. He had a tight shirt on, so I had full view of his yummy abs. Don't get me wrong. Normally I'm not the girl who cares if you had abs or not but I mean... who couldn't love those delicious things. My eyes traveled up from his abs to his worried face. "Jess?"

"Oh ! Sorry! I was.. a lil bit distracted! I love you too." I mumbled sheepishly and held up my figures gesturing a teeny tiny small amount. He rolled his eyes at me and pulled me out the window. I jumped on his back and he gave me a piggy back ride to his car. I hopped in his Navy Blue Jeep and turned on the radio. Ellie Goulding's Your song came on the radio. (PLAY YOUTUBE CLIP HERE)

"Oh my god! I love this song! It fits me perfectly!" I squealed and sang along. Let me explain why.

It's a little bit funny. This feeling inside. Symbolized how I felt, just having a mate for the first time. I'm not one of those who can easily hide. Well my new mate was an Alpha, meaning I was a Luna. They are very well known. I don't have much money. But boy if I did. I'd buy a big house where. We both could live. I wasn't the rich Alpha, I was just a normal girl, and I would give anything in the world to see my mate happy. So excuse me forgetting. But these things I do. See I've forgotten if. They're green or they're blue. I'm terrible at remembering colors of eyes and my specks are black and green. Anyway the thing is. What I really mean. Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen. He's my mate, and his eyes are so kind and trusting. And you can tell everybody, This is your song. It may be quite simple but. Now that it's done. I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind. That I put down in words. How wonderful life is now you're in the world. I'm his mate. He can tell everybody. I accept him. Life couldn't get any better now that he's here.

"Hey babe. We're here." I looked around the school grounds and, sure enough, all eyes were on me. I stepped out of the car and linked my arm with Alec's. Next thing I knew a little redheaded ball of fury flew up to me and slapped me. Hard.

"You're such a liar! That's not possible! You're not worth of anybody!" Kelly screamed. A deep growl erupted from Alec and he pinned her up against a school bus. A collective amount of gasps were heard from around us.

"Don't you EVER talk like that about my mate. EVER. You are the liar that's not worthy of anybody!" His grip tightened around her neck and her feet squirmed as she was lifted in the air. I ran up to Alec and put my hand on the hand that was around her neck.

"Stop." Was all I said and then I turned around and gasped.
