Two years later- Summer before Senior Year-

Karleigh's POV

For the most part, my neighborhood was pretty quiet. We all lived in pretty big houses, so mostly older couples and rich doctors or lawyers lived in the neighborhood. Every other Friday, no matter if it's summer or we are in school, Logan Peters throws a party. Tonight was one of those Fridays.

Ali had come over my house right after school, so we could get ready together like we always do.We did each others makeup and hair, and helped pick out our outfits. Tonight we looked amazing, We usually looked good. Yet there was something about tonight that made us more confident and determined.

My long blonde hair framed my face in voluminous waves. The short, body-hugging, champagne colored dress I was wearing brought out my stormy eyes.My makeup was done in a neutral, yet sultry style, which also highlighted my eyes and full lips. Lastly, my black stilletto's finished the look.

Ali's dark brown hair was straightened and she wore an electric blue dress that made her deep brown eyes pop and showed off her gorgeous figure nicely. To finish off her outfit, she wore golden-brown pumps.

Sometimes Logan's parties weren't the best. Okay, the party itself is never bad. In fact, I didn't blame Logan's party for my break up. I just wished that I wouldn't have decided to miss one, and end up with my heaet broken. I've only missed one of Logan's parties, yet what happened at that one party changed my life. I lost my boyfriend, my best friend, and my trust in them.

I shook my head, mentally swatting at the memories of old times.

Ali gave me a questioning look, and I just smiled. Ali is still my best friend. Most people probably wouldn't have been able to forgive their best friend for what she and Sid did, but I realized about four months after we broke up, that I need both of them in my life. No matter how much they hurt me, I would die without them.

Ali and I were closer than we had been in a long time, but we will never be as close as we once were. I can't fully forgive her, but I can't hold a grudge for the rest of my life either.

As for Sid and I, we are close friends. To be honest, I know that we have both changed a lot. We both love flirting, and neither of us have held a steady relationship since each other, but oh well. Sometimes you have to change for the worse and just have fun. Eventually, I know that both of us. Well, at least I will, change my ways and stop playing guys. Just not anytime soon.

"Karleigh, Karleigh, Karleigh. You get sexier every time I see you." Logan's eyes were full of lust, and his lips settled into a smirk as my eyes drifted over his well toned body. He plays lacrosse, so he has a pretty nice body. Okay, his body screams, "Just fuck me."

"You see me almost everyday Silly. Did you forget that I live right across the street from you Loggie Bear?"

He gave me a lopsided grin at the use of his nickname that I gave too him when we were seven. Logan is like my older brother. We mess around sometimes, but we could never be anything more than like brother and sister. We've lived across from each other since we were both five years old, and we grew up very close.

Ali chuckled at the two of us and pushed past us, heading into the party. She looked back at me," Meet me on the dance floor in five or I'll hunt both of your asses down." With a wink directed towards us, she turned around and disappeared into the crowd of sweaty, lust-filled, sex craved teenagers.
