Braving Death

I just realized, how short life is,

how temporary our journey,

our time on earth

As we possess, the body we now have,

as when we depart,

what's left is just a lifeless vessel of what's we once had.

The other world is not one we know, for we'd once came from, and now we shall return

Purgatory, we called. As I heard, is a place where souls belong, between heaven and earth, both prison and paradise...

For death there's no escape, no dealings, no bargains...

Wealth and pride is not rationalize, for it treated all the same

When the time comes, it's a question of faith

Will you be saved or needed to be save...

You could embrace it like a man

Yet you could hide like a mice

Either, there's only one end....
