Darkness swallows her,

She's nobody's child.

She sits here wallowing,

It's driving her wild.

Tired of sorry,

Tired of pain,

Tired of death,

Grieving again.

But she's nobody's child,

And nobody cares.

She's sick of the fighting.

She's sick of the stares

Why is she different?

Why is she scared?

Would it be different?

If somebody cared?

I don't have the answers.

I know of her pain.

I see it in her eyes.

She relives it again.

Her mind is haunted.

It's driven her wild.

The pressure has killed her.

She's nobody's child.
