As the Wind Blows

20 2 1

as the wind blows

so it is our life goes

for we are but leaves in flight

clouds in the sky

ask me if I know why

that which is wrong seems so right

deep in my mind

hides this place where I find

two birds on a wave-swept shore

that spot for me

sets my pain and heart free

wing to wing, hand in hand ... amore

yes my sweet love

we shall soar like twin doves

high on the peak of all life

to thee a ring

in your heart I will sing

take it and be thou my wife

when a full moon

meets the sun at high noon

as our days on earth are done

then we can spend

all of time with the wind

in dreams made real by His Son

star light for wine

and on love we shall dine

please know that this will be true

such is the fate

of those souls who are mates

come to me soon ... I need you
