On that day, I summoned a ruthless monster. From the depths he came, bringing with him eminent destruction. Yet, he was my only choice. My chest tightened with fear upon witnessing his hideous face. Somehow, though, he managed to fool my eyes with that delicate facade of purity and honesty. However, he couldn't fool my heart. I know for a fact that it's only my soul he wants, not my praise or affection. Once a demon, always a demon; I can see it in his eyes. He wears a black suit and gloves as white as snow; who wouldn't be fooled by this display? Yet, on nights when I cannot sleep, I feel his essence around. He may call me "Master", but I am only a mere puppet on his strings, a toy that he plays with for fun. At times, I think I've got him figured out. But, he always seems to be one step ahead of me, and to know something that I don't. This creature will serve my family with honor and effort, yet a burning hatred for the world upon which he gluts himself grows endlessly. He hungers; patiently he waits like our contract bids. I order, and he obeys. What a tamed dog of a demon. The moment I'm sure that I've finally gotten him under my foot, he'll remind me of my place...my true place. He's quite the actor. A monster he truly is, who contains unlimited power. He can hold the entire world in his hands; no one steps over him or in front of him. Fear strikes those in his deathly gaze. He belongs to the night. - ☠
