before I start this book I need to state something : I'm aware that as a white woman, none of the racism issues I'll be mentioning effect me, so it's not my place to speak on them or speak over any of the communities that are effected by it. I want y'all to know that that's not my intention with this book. I care deeply about these issues and I want to use my privilege to educate and spread awareness about these things, especially where we're at now as a country.
anyway, if y'all find that I'm speaking over those communities PLEASE call me out on that.
