"So can I get outta here now?" The suspect said in an annoying, whiney tone. "Not soon enough." Elliot Stabler barked. "If only we could put 'em away for bein douche bags, huh." Fin said, passing by. Alexandra Cabot stood, arms crossed. She checked the time. 9:12 and she was still at work. Not unusual, but today she was rather exhausted. She'd been going at it with Craigen all day over this case. They'd just hit a bunch of dead ends and it was getting to everyone.

Elliot studied Alex who was staring at the floor in deep thought.

Elliot Stabler is high strung, short tempered and agressive. He has a hard time containing his emotion, but knows when he's out of line, and isn't afraid to tell someone else when they're out of line. While he is a hot headed son of a bitch, he still looks out for his own and wouldn't do anything to hurt him. He's a husband and a father, who's married to his job and spends more time at work than at home. He'd never admit it, but his team is more like family than they are.

Alex Cabot is also high strung, short tempered, and agressive. Elliot lashes out and yells or shows aggresive body language when he's reached his limit. However, Alex is different. She remains calm, but she's ruthless and isn't afraid to put you in your place. She find power in words. I guess that comes naturally since she's an Assitant District Atourney. Alex has a small family that she isn't very close to. She's mostly closed off and doesn't often show her true self or emotions. Alex Cabot is a ball buster. She walks tall and proud, can scilence a room the moment she walks in with her icey, serious aura.

While Cabot and Stabler are like fire and ice, they are both very serious about their jobs. They're both hell bent on putting all of these creeps away for life and keeping New York safe. While most of the time it causes them to be at eachothers throats like wild animals, it some how is one of the only things that keeps the two very different elements somewhat civil. That, and Olivia Benson.

Olivia Benson was undenyably one of New Yorks finest. She was caring, compasionate, strong, determined, and damn good at her job. But above all she was dedicated. She would (and has) put her life and job on the line for one of her coworkers or one of the victims she was taking care of. Olivia was a woman in a mans world and she had earned all of their respect and admiration, fair and square. She deserved it too, every last bit of it.

Benson and Stabler had been partners for 12 years. They trusted eachother with every secret, every detail of eachothers lives. In some ways, they were closer than husband and wife. But there was absoultely nothing romantic between them. Elliot has saved Olivias life countless times, and she'd done the same for him. Some would say they were too close, and Captain Cragen had almost split them up once. However, he knew that if he did that, he would lose both of NewYorks finest. They protected, loved, and served together. No one would ever be able to break the Stabler-Benson bond. And if something happened to one of them, it would completely shatter the other beyond repair. One without the other would be like taking away a piece of their life.

Alexandra Cabot had been working with the squad as long as Stabler and Benson had been partners. Like Olivia, Alex was a woman in a mans world. She was hard, strong, and sometimes insufferable. While she had beyond earned everyone's resptect, she didn't always get it. Except from Olivia. Olivia had always respected Alexandra, and she had always respected Olivia. Although it was never spoken, the bond, trust, respect and love that they had instilled in each other was deeply understood, by them, and by everyone.
