Hope
When things go down, I think of you.
My only hope and that is you.
Lord God, you give me strength and trust
To do the impossible task.
You are my savior and hero
Who’d never laugh when I’m zero.
You help me stand when I fall down.
You light me up just like a town.
You inspire me when I’m empty.
You care much about my safety.
You tuck me in safely at night.
You provide brightness to my sight.
Feeling you here with me is great.
The Messiah who gives us faith.
Who gives us courage to go up
The urge and will to reach the top.
Thank you for giving prudence
Especially when we are dense.
We’re grateful for the composure
To provide us the exposure.

Honestly, I say that this is one of the best poems I've ever made. Just the thought of me scrambling around for words to go perfectly with the "Iambic-Tetrameter' gave my ego a down low but in the end, it made my piece stand out. Thanks God!!!! This one talks more about my hope- Lord God. The emotions that I'd been building up in my system were all poured out into making this. We are all so grateful for God to be here with us every single minute. He sacrificed His only son to help us from our sins. He watches us everyday to ensure our safety. He's so forgiving that even the worst of the killers plead for His forgiveness sincerely, he'd forgive him without having second doubts. Lord God, thank you!!!
