Keith’s POV

I'm not a popular kind of girl at my school. I'm just an ordinary student, with not a really bad grades and I'm not the teachers' favorite student. I have a best friend, Althea. We knew each other since she was once became my neighbor. Well, maybe Thea's boyfriend also can be counted as my best friend too, since he also heard some of my stories. And now, here I am... Stuck in my class, writing down some stuff from the blackboard as I sat with my head resting on the palm of my hand. I knew why I am supposed to be here, to study. But I just couldn’t put myself to concentrate at the lesson. I don’t understand what the teacher was saying even though I wrote everything what was written on the blackboard. I may looked like I was listening to the teacher. People can call me a nerd without a glasses and braces on my teeth.

All other students were different than me. They were busy by themselves, so careless. Talking with their friends, reading magazines, bullying the nerd... It's all a mess! Although the class was really noisy, actually  I feel so empty inside. I let out a sigh from my mouth and I rolled my eyes as I was talking to myself.

I stopped writing my notes for a while as I looked to my notes blankly. Life isn't so easy. I mean, it's not that hard, but it's just that I need someone to be with me, more than a friend. Maybe I sounded too needy, but I literally am. Sometimes I pitied myself being so emo like this, feeling all alone. I can't just sit and wish upon a shooting star then an ideal boyfriend showed up in front of me within a blink of an eye. I glanced out the window and I saw the breeze blew the trees until the leaves flew away. I suddenly got shocked, after Thea called me back to reality.

"What happened, Keith? You seem quite deep in your thoughts..." I didn't thought that Thea had been looking at me and concerned for me. Moreover, she was sitting next to me, so I must have caught her attention. I trust her, but I still couldn't tell her this. She would think I'm jealous of her.

"Nothing... I'm okay." I smiled at her. Maybe she won't be asking any questions further than that if I answered her that way, I thought simply.

"Really? If there's something you want to tell me, you can just let me know." I nodded at her as an answer.

“Oh, yeah. I will... Definitely.” I replied shortly. A few minutes later, the bell rang so it means it was time for lunch. I put all my books in the bag and I started to stand up, I waited for Thea to have lunch together.

"Let's go, Keith." Thea pulled my hand and we walked out through the door together. We headed to the canteen and everybody including both of us queue up to get our lunch.

After we got the food, I saw there was an empty table I quickly walked towards the table putting my food and all my belongings down on the table and Thea sit next to me. And then Steve, Thea's boyfriend, joined us to eat together.

"Hey babe, I missed youuu..." Steve kissed his girlfriend all over her face. They laughed together, so sticky when both of them are being together. Steve and Thea were so lovey dovey. Sometimes they just made me felt ticklish and the gave me goosebumps to hear what they were saying to each other. I narrowed my eyes seeing how drama queen they are. I rolled my eyes and just focused to my food. They were even worse then drama film. They were just like newlyweds. I shook my head after I thought about them.

“Stop it, you guys. You both looked disgusting.” I playfully smacked Thea's upper arm and I ended it with a slight laugh.

“Oh...” Steve cleared his throat.

“Yeah, right.” Thea said that while she was rubbing her arm that I smacked, but they still smiled at each other again. I rolled my eyes again, because they looked like they have been seperated for over thousands of years. Then we continued to eat our food again.
