Ross's POV

The flavors of warm, salty, tomatoey broth dances across my taste buds as I close my eyes to take in the flavor. I'm so thankful mom brought the tomato soup from a nice cafe as a celebratory last night in the hospital dinner. Hospital food is crap.

"Ready for another bite?" a sweet voice giggles before she kisses my forehead. I open my eyes to stare into hers. I give her a nod and Paisley feeds me another bite. She continues to feed me more as we stare into each other's eyes lovingly. Although my mom may be in the chair next to us, it feels like we are the only people in the world. Once I've eaten all of the soup, Paisley gently dabs my face with a napkin as we giggle and smile just because we're so in love.

"I'm so sorry!" Mom sobs as she bursts into tears. Paisley and I jump in surprise since she's been so quiet for the past few minutes.

"Sorry for what?" Paisley asks softly.

"How could I not realize how in love you are?" she exclaims.

"Because we've been hiding it" Paisley answers calmly as she throws the empty soup carton away.

"I haven't! I love you, Paisley" I exclaim since I'm pretending that I lost my memory.

"I love you too, baby" she smiles before walking over to me and kissing my cheek.

"Do that again" I smirk. She lets out a giggle before touching her soft lips to my cheek once more. She pulls back after a few seconds and looks back down at me. I need that on my lips. I pull my annoying oxygen mask over my head, but Paisley quickly pulls it back over my nose and mouth.

"Come on, babe! All I want is a quick peck on the lips" I whine.

"I think your breathing is more important than us kissing" she sighs.

"My lips crave yours more than my lungs crave oxygen" I smirk seductively.

"Well your lips are just going to have to wait" she laughs.

"But babe!" I whine. She rolls her eyes and climbs on top of me before kissing every part of my face that isn't covered by oxygen mask.

"Babe" I moan.

"Yes?" she giggles as she sits up.

"Don't stop" I demand. She places her lips back on my face and she begins kissing me more.

"What are you doing?" Lindsay's annoying voice shrieks.

"She's kissing me, what are you gonna do about it?" I exclaim in annoyance as Paisley gets off of me.

"He is MY fiancé, why are you kissing him?" Lindsay growls as she gets up in Paisley's face.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to kiss him a little before his memory came back" Paisley sighs shamefully.

"Well stop! You can't just go stealing another girl's guy!" Lindsay demands.

"I'm sorry" Paisley whispers.

"Can you just leave? I want some alone time with my fiancé" she snaps.

"Ok, I'll go for a walk" she sighs before leaving the room.

"I'll miss you" I call after her.

"Stormie, can you leave too?" Lindsay asks politely.

"No, in fact I want you to leave and never come back! I forbid you from marrying my son!" she yells.

"Well that's not your choice, now is it?" Lindsay smirks.

"No, it isn't. That's exactly why you can't get married because I pressured him into proposing. He never wanted to marry you!" mom states.
